Last week my husband, Ben, and I went to see Shakespeare's "As You Like It" with our good friends the Murgatroyds. I came away with a renewed appreciation for Shakespeare's WACKY sense of humor. Here, for your pleasure, is my new favorite quote:
"I can suck melancholy out of a song as a weasel sucks eggs."
I find this funny on so many levels. I'll leave you to guess which levels those are;).

Hey, daughter, its not "quote" that's the verb form, its "quotation". :-)
Hm, technically I believe you are correct. However, I am going to leave that little typo for the sake of LANGUAGE PROGRESS! Yes, I said it. My leaving it there is the first step in actually changing the rule rather than fixing my mistake ;).
My husband and I were watching As You Like It after our Valentine's Day dinner...it's very funny... so glad you are appreciating the Bard - and welcome to the blogosphere... ;-)
